Country Manager of Sol in Anguilla, Mr Hewlette Gumbs, participated in the event by showcasing the characteristics of Liquid Petroleum Gas (LPG) and hosted several interactive sessions for the many young students and adults in attendance. The main focus was on the safe use of petroleum products such as LPG.

The theme of the safety fair was ‘Safer Practices equals Safer Lives’ with the objective to encourage basic safety behaviour and practices in areas such as accident prevention, road safety; the safe use of electrical and other appliances, importance of insurance, natural disaster risks and health and environmental awareness.

Following the event, Ms Pamela Herbert-Daniel, Managing Director of Scotiabank Anguilla, presented Mr Gumbs with a fire extinguisher as a prize awarded for the booth with the most interaction with visitors.
