Rebranded Sol Warrens Service Station Opens

The newly renovated and re-opened Sol Warrens Service Station.

Customers who had anxiously awaited the reopening of Sol Warrens Service Station got their wish last week when the beautifully renovated station was brought back online following a major upgrade.

Motorists preparing for the imminent passage of tropical storm Chantal were first to benefit, as even though the Station was not completely ready at the time, management opened the forecourt so that anxious drivers could complete their storm preparations with a full-tank of Sol Go Further.

Warrens has become the fourth major Sol Service Station in Barbados to reflect the striking orange, blue and silver colours of the now prominent Caribbean brand, following similar upgrades at Wildey, Redmans, and Speightstown.

Located in what is probably Barbados’ busiest intersection, the rebranded Station now offers customers access to Sol’s Go Further fuels, while motorists seeking a refreshing respite from the hustle and bustle of traffic can patronise the upgraded deli offerings.

Country Manager for SOL (BARBADOS) LTD, Ezra Prescod, said he was not surprised that the re-opening had been keenly anticipated by motorists given the convenient location of the Warrens Station, and the growing popularity and endorsement of the Sol brand.

Warrens is our fourth major rebranding exercise in Barbados and continues to affirm our commitment to provide every Barbadian with the best value in fuels, such as our Sol Go Further, conceptualised and designed by Barbadians for our unique driving conditions,” Prescod Stated.

He added: “With eight years of industry experience since our inception in 2005, we believe we can be justifiably proud and passionate about the performance of our fuels, the qualities of which were just recently demonstrated as they helped our Sol sponsored drivers to top the list of local finishers in Sol Rally Barbados.”

While motorists have been quickly taking advantage of the newly reopened Station, the opportunity to officially mark the occasion will come with a full day of special activities to be held later this month. Customers fuelling up will be treated to special giveaways, while there will be opportunities to spin-and-win for prizes, and product-sampling.

A major highlight of the evening at Warrens will be the presence of Roger “The Sheriff” Skeete, with his Subaru Impreza WRC S12, and Neil Armstrong, in his Suzuki SX4 WRC,their first public appearance since a successful outing in the recently concluded Sol Rally Barbados event.

Overall, since the commencement of the rebranding process in 2009, over 80 stations, marinas and Sol Shops have been opened across the 19 territories in which The Sol Group operates.
