SOL EC LTD. Announce Drive in to Win Grand Prize WinnersMarch 1, 2013
Winners of the Shell Drive in to Win, Retail Fuel Promotion received their prizes today at a brief ceremony held at the Sol headquarters in Cul-De-Sac, St. Lucia.
The promotion which ran for an eight week period used the strategy of instant prizes plus grand prize winners to reward customers for their support of Shell fuels. The grand prize winners arising from the exiting customer promotion were:
Ceasarius Barley - $5000 cash
Sherman joseph - $5000 Cash
Crescent Elger-James – 24 months free fuel
Most winners expressed appreciation for their winnings, in particular Mr. Crescent James who indicated, that he had been a loyal Shell user for many years. He remarked that the Shell V-Power fuel is the best fuel he has ever used as his mechanic has actually shown him what happens to his engine when it is runs on a clean fuel like Shell V-Power. He stated that he has tried other fuels in the past but notices a significant difference in the way his vehicle accelerates when it is being driven on Shell V-Power which is why he plans his driving to ensure that he always fuels at a Shell Service Station.
Winners were presented with prizes by Sales & Marketing Manager Deborah Edward.
Speaking on behalf of SOL, Mrs. Edward noted that SOL is celebrating eight years of serving the people of St. Lucia. During her address she thanked those present for their loyalty which she says helps the company to achieve its corporate social responsibility mandate of giving back to the community whether it is by way of a promotion or sponsorship. She encouraged them to keep fuelling at Shell Service Stations where the offer is not just the best fuel on island but also the best customer service experience.
