Sol has been commended for its support of this year’s 31^st Annual Conference of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of the Caribbean (ICAC), being held next month under the theme “Global Challenges, Regional Solutions”. 

The regional event is being hosted by the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Barbados (ICAB), which will welcome around 250 members of the regional accounting and financial services community to Barbados to meet with 300 of their local counterparts at the Hilton Barbados from June 27^th to 29^th.

Speaking at the official press launch for the event held recently at the Hilton, ICAB President, David Simpson welcomed Sol on board as a first-time sponsor in the gold category. He said both ICAB and ICAC were hopeful for continuing support from the region’s largest independent oil company. 

“Sol Caribbean Ltd has joined us for the first time as a sponsor of this event and we welcome Sol. I am hoping, and we will discuss this at a later point that we will have their ongoing support, especially from the standpoint that I know Sol operates in virtually all of the territories where the Conference is likely to be hosted in any given year,” said Simpson.

Sol’s Group Marketing & Communications Coordinator, Gina Cummins, who also attended the launch, said Sol was happy to join other corporate sponsors in supporting the ICAC Conference.
