The annual race, organized by the Belize Cycling Association in collaboration with Sol Belize Ltd. started at 8:30am in front of Columbus Park in San Ignacio and concluded at the Memorial Park in Belize City.
The National Champion was presented with a $2,000 first prize cheque sponsored by Sol Belize Ltd., a first place trophy from the Belize Cycling Association and the winner’s garland of roses from Florasol, which six-time champion Camille Solis placed around her neck.
She was also awarded a trophy offered by Reginald Jex and a plaque from the Women’s Department in the Ministry of Human Development.

The other prizes supplied by Sol were that of $1,000 and $700 for second and third place respectively.
