Sol in Barbados is embarking on a new and exciting chapter in its development with the launch of the company’s first official fuel brand.

From June 21, 2012, patrons at all Sol Service Stations will experience the premium quality that is “Sol Go Further”, the new fuel economy Gasoline and Diesel product developed by Sol.

Designed to improve engine performance and fuel economy, “Sol Go Further” Gasoline is expected to give motorists up to 10 kilometres more per tankful, based on average driving conditions in a 1.8 litre car with a full 50 litre gas tank; while “Sol Go Further” Diesel has been developed to increase power output, enhance engine life and reduce emissions, as well as to provide greater fuel economy.

In August 2009 Sol took the first steps towards solidifying its brand presence across the Caribbean, unveiling fully branded Sol stations in Haiti, Anguilla, St. Kitts, St. Maarten, the British Virgin Islands, Suriname, St. Lucia and most recently here in Barbados. 

Ezra Prescod, Country Manager for SOL (BARBADOS) LTD described the launch of “Sol Go Further” as a significant step for the company.
